Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist (OT) Make an Impact Where It Matters TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Romulus, MI. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills they need to be successful at school. What You'll Do Providing occupational therapy services to students individually and/or in small groups Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals and interventions Supporting students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills Helping students develop functional, self-care, and classroom participation skills Monitoring and documenting student progress toward individualized goals Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals Recommending strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support student success Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist license/credential appropriate for practice in Michigan Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Experience working with children or adolescents preferred School-based and/or special education experience is a plus Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, sensory processing, and developmental needs Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements Why TSP Ed Co?
