Senior Financial Analyst

Consolidating and analyzing financial data, taking into account company’s goals and financial standing Model strategic scenarios and assess ROI for process improvements, asset decisions, and capital investments. Understanding of accrual accounting, activity based costing and standard costing approaches. Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models Gather meaningful information, identify trends and recommend actions to management based on sound analysis Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function Actively assist the monthly financial close process in all respects Lead and administrate Operations Finance projects Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close process Other duties as assigned

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 4-7 years’ proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, specifically in a manufacturing environment Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis Proven knowledge of financial accounting including the monthly financial close process Sufficient skills to develop ad hoc reports and presentations Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment Excellent time management and prioritization skills with regard to strict deadlines.
