Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Patient Services Rep I provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing clerical tasks primarily associated with answering incoming calls, registration, and patient check-in/out procedures in a high-volume setting for multiple specialties, collection of patient co-pay or deductibles, scheduling and verifying patient appointments.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Required:

• 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a medical front office setting.

• Basic knowledge of computers, filing and organizational skills.

• Ability to deal effectively with the public.

Preferred:

• Bilingual in English/Spanish

Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Pay Scale Information

$43,680.00-$53,581.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
