Outpatient Pharmacist (non-union)

Position Summary Under the supervision of the Outpatient Pharmacy Administrative Director and/or Pharmacy Manager, and according to department policies, procedures, and guidelines, the pharmacist is responsible for compounding and dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals and checking all medication prior to dispensing and delivery. Position Outpatient Pharmacist (non-union) Department Manet Pharmacy Schedule Part Time Job Requirements Education Requires a Pharmacy Degree from a US-accredited college of pharmacy. A BS in Pharmacy is the minimum requirement and an advanced degree (e.g. PharmD, M.S., or MBA) is preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Requires licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts by the hire date. Experience Requires at least two to three years of related experience. QS1 experience is preferred. Knowledge and Skills Comprehensive understanding of the procedures, systems, and equipment used by pharmacists and technicians and a high level of proficiency in performing pharmacist duties and responsibilities. High level of analytical ability, organizational and personal management skill, and focus to ensure a concerted approach to operations. Experience practicing with, as well as revising and/or implementing, information systems. Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Professional conduct and demeanor. Proficient with standard software used in healthcare office settings (e.g. MS Word, Excel, web browser, etc.). Compensation Range $43.03 - $62.50 per hour This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
