CO2 Monitoring, a national leader in CO2 safety, monitoring, and compliance solutions, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Field Services Manager to help scale our field operations across a rapidly growing customer base. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will oversee service delivery, technician performance, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing our mission of protecting people, property, and businesses through innovative safety and compliance solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Leadership & Team Management

o Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop field technicians and installation personnel.

o Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development plans.

o Schedule and assign resources to maximize productivity and customer responsiveness.

o Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

o After-hours support and on-call functions

· Operational Excellence

o Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for installations, service, inspections, and maintenance activities.

o Monitor service metrics, technician utilization, response times, and project completion rates.

o Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.

o Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Customer Experience

o Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer concerns and service issues.

o Conduct customer site visits to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.

o Develop long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners.

o Support the Sales team with site assessments, technical consultations, and solution recommendations.

· Technical & Compliance Oversight

o Ensure all installations comply with applicable OSHA, NFPA, IFC, local building codes, and company standards.

o Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations, safety requirements, and emerging technologies.

o Review installation documentation, commissioning reports, and service records for accuracy and completeness.

o Lead root-cause analysis efforts for recurring service, installation, or equipment issues.

· Financial & Inventory Management

o Manage departmental budgets, labor utilization, fleet expenses, and project costs.

o Monitor inventory levels, equipment availability, and procurement needed to support field operations.

o Review project profitability and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

o Approve field service expenses and ensure accurate reporting of time and materials.

o Reporting & Continuous Improvement

o Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, including key service KPIs.

o Analyze service trends, customer feedback, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.

o Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

o Support company growth initiatives by helping scale field operations and service capabilities.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

· Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

· Degree in Management, Construction, Engineering, or related field a plus

· Experience managing field technicians across multiple geographic regions.

· Proficiency with CRM, ERP, field service management, and Microsoft Office applications.

· Knowledge of gas detection systems, compliance monitoring equipment, electrical systems, or life safety systems preferred.

· Solid technical background with understanding of installation procedures

· Ability to manage and coordinate multiple teams

· Strong problem-solving abilities and Project Management

Additional Requirements

· 3 to 5 years’ experience

· Ability to travel up to 50-60% domestically.

· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
