Lead Quality Inspector

Lead InspectorsWe are seeking experienced, dependable Lead Inspectors to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take ownership of their work, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment. The hours are 1st shift, Monday - Friday with weekends as needed.This position requires flexibility to support multiple locations and shifts as needed. Current priority coverage areas include Auburn Hills, Warren, Troy, and St. Clair Shores, with opportunities to work at additional sites throughout the Detroit area.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspections of raw materials and finished productsUse measurement tools such as gauges, scales, and tape measures to verify specificationsAudit production processes to ensure compliance with quality standardsIdentify, document, and segregate non-conforming materialsComplete inspection reports accurately and in a timely mannerEnter inspection data into company systems and databasesConduct final inspections and verify outgoing shipmentsAssist in identifying root causes of quality issues and communicate findingsMaintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and company proceduresQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalentBasic math and reading skillsAbility to learn and use measurement tools (tape measure, gauges, scales)Basic computer skills (data entry, system navigation)Strong attention to detail and accuracyReliable, punctual, and professionalPreferred:Previous quality inspection or quality assurance experienceExperience using precision measurement instrumentsManufacturing or production environment experienceWork Environment & ExpectationsMust be flexible to work different shifts and travel between nearby sites as neededFast-paced manufacturing and production environmentsStanding, walking, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
