Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 6 Description: Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for night shifts. The position offers an option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Float to similar units may be required. Care for adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios are 6 on nights. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Familiarity with Epic charting system is required. Skills needed include central line management, blood product administration, and IV management. Candidates must be able to manage surgical drains and wound care. Travelers will receive a brief orientation on the unit. Compliance with facility requirements is expected. All applicants must be prepared to float as needed based on facility needs.
