Customer Service Associate

Assist internal and external customers and sales representatives with order entry Accurately process customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns Maintain accurate customer, territory, and facility records and document customer interactions Generate reports Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery Maintain compliance with Company, State, and Federal regulatory guidelines Follow Accounts Receivable policies and practices Verify prices and terms according to standard procedures and customer profitability profiles Multitask across multiple computer systems and communication platforms Maintain current knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures Develop working relationships across business functions, with customers, and with manufacturing partners Provide customer service and sales support; respond to queries, answer questions, and solve problems Communicate pertinent customer information to outside sales representatives or management Identify customer requirements and recommend products or solutions Upgrade telephone orders Introduce and promote new veterinary products during calls Place outbound calls to existing customers to suggest additional products and increase sales and services Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High School Degree or equivalent Exceptional customer service and organizational skills Accuracy and strong attention to detail Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or companion animal setting preferred Proficiency in SAP or related ERP preferred Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Ability to operate a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday Ability to occasionally move packages up to 10 pounds Ability to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing Ability to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with coworkers, customers, and vendors Ability to read and interpret electronic and written documents Willingness to travel minimally (10%) in a local area for a sales ride-along or training opportunity Core Competencies Demonstrates exceptional customer service and organizational skills while accurately processing transactions and maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines.
