Retail Graphic Designer (Remote within market)

Overview

: The Retail Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing graphic and interior design concepts that create meaningful and memorable Shane Co. customer shopping experiences, build brand loyalty, and encourage repeat visits and referrals. This role is 'remote within market' which means that the incumbent must live within 50 miles of a Shane Co location. This role will require periodic travel to brick-and-mortar locations. The salary range for this role is $68,500-90,000 annually.

Responsibilities

: Graphic Design

• Design and produce visual graphics for in-store displays, signage, promotional materials, and digital platforms.
• Resize and arrange wall photos and graphics to fit various spaces within Shane Co. retail environments, ensuring optimal visual impact and alignment with brand.
• Ensure consistency in branding across all retail touchpoints and marketing channels.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (including, but not limited to, Construction Special Project Manager, Director of Store Experience Marketing and Visual Merchandising Manager) to integrate interior and graphic design elements seamlessly.

Interior Design

• Integrate artistic installations and branded elements that reflect the heritage, story, and aesthetic of Shane Co.
• Incorporate decorative accents such as wall murals, photography, unique artifacts and gemstone displays to establish an immersive and engaging shopping environment.
• Decorate shelving throughout the store to create welcoming spaces and tell the brand story.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
• Conduct site visits to oversee installations and guide graphic placement and arrangement.
• Embrace an adaptive and interactive design process that encourages innovation and continuous improvement based on customer feedback, evolving trends, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interior design or related field. Equivalent experience in related fields will be considered.
• 5-7 years of experience in graphic design with specific experience in retail and interior design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and visual composition.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in retail design.
• Experience with Figma preferred, but not required.
• Experience with SketchUp and/or AutoCAD preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

:

The primary environment for this role is a remote workspace provided by the employee. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. Note that all hybrid and remote work conditions are covered in the Company's current Remote Work Policy and Remote Work Agreement, incorporated here by reference. This role will require periodic travel to brick-and-mortar locations. Incumbent must live within 50 miles of a Shane Co location. Travel may also be required to Home Office, conferences or events up to 10% of the time.

The range describes the minimum to maximum likely rate for this in the state of Colorado. Individual pay will be determined based on skills and qualifications for the role.
