To support members in reversing metabolic disease, the full-time remote Health Coach will provide evidence-based nutrition and behavior change coaching, ensuring high-quality interactions and personalized guidance primarily through chat-based communication. Key responsibilities Provide personalized nutritional guidance and behavior change coaching to support weight loss and improved metabolic health Engage with members using various counseling techniques to ensure personal success and retention Collaborate with care team members to deliver a seamless and personalized experience for Virta members Required qualifications 2 years of experience in patient-facing roles related to nutrition counseling or chronic condition coaching Experience in chronic condition/metabolic health coaching or completion of a relevant coaching program Associate's, Bachelor's, or advanced degree in a health-related field Strong technological literacy for effective remote communication and care delivery High emotional intelligence and empathy to work effectively with diverse personalities
