Job Position: Production Operator / Food Packer

Location: San Antonio, TX 78223

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift- 7:00A - 3:30P

2nd shift 3:30P - 12A ($14.50/hr)

Job Summary:

The Production Operator / Food Packer is responsible for packaging finished food products accurately and efficiently while maintaining company quality, food safety, and sanitation standards. This role supports daily production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Package food products according to established production standards and customer specifications

• Operate basic packaging equipment and assist with labeling, sealing, and portioning as required

• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with food safety requirements before packaging

• Follow all company safety policies, including PPE usage and safe food-handling procedures

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; food manufacturing or packing experience preferred

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required

• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Willingness to work in cold or temperature-controlled environments

• Ability to work overtime or weekends as needed

Work Environment

• Food production facility with exposure to cold temperatures, noise, and repetitive motion

• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring consistent adherence to safety and quality standards
