This position requires strong orthopedic surgical coding knowledge and the ability to confidently review and support coding decisions.ResponsibilitiesReview and assign accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes for orthopedic servicesCode diagnostics, follow-up visits, procedures, and surgical servicesReview charts involving:Hip and shoulder joint replacementsNeck and back surgeriesFoot and ankle proceduresSports medicineImaging and therapy servicesTelemedicineMaintain a minimum 95% coding accuracyClearly explain and support coding decisions when neededCollaborate with team members and share orthopedic coding expertiseQualifications3+ years of orthopedic/surgical coding experienceActive CPC or CCS-P certificationStrong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codingEPIC experience strongly preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlySchedule & TrainingMonday–FridayTraining: 8:00 AM–5:00 xhyhwjd PM ESTAfter training: Flexible schedule between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM ESTEPIC training, orientation, and workflow shadowing providedPosition DetailsContract-to-hireFull-time2 openingsTarget start: ASAPOnsite opportunities available in VirginiaStrong remote candidates may also be considered
