Staff Accountant

Our client, a global publicly traded company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their collaborative team. This exciting role is open due to a recent internal promotion. This position plays a key part in supporting financial reporting, close processes, and the continuous improvement of procedures across the organization! Responsibilities: Prepare and post general ledger activity, including complex journal entries, accruals, adjusting entries, and account variance analysis Execute monthly and annual close activities, performing bank and account reconciliations to clear items efficiently. Partner with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to gather global financial information and resolve accounting discrepancies Streamline financial operations, driving process improvement across accounting initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 2+ years of relevant accounting experience: ideally within a mid-to-large company environment.
