About the Role We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support the financial operations of a growing portfolio of properties. In this role, you’ll manage full‑cycle accounting responsibilities, partner closely with property leadership, and contribute to accurate, timely financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for an early‑career accountant looking to build strong technical skills while gaining exposure to multi‑entity operations and senior finance leadership. Duties/Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, including accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and cash management Prepare and post journal entries, including daily revenue and month‑end close entries Monitor and forecast cash flow; prepare funding requests as needed Produce and distribute weekly and monthly financial and operational reports Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, identifying variances and trends Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Prepare and file state and local sales tax returns Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries Partner with General Managers and Regional Controllers to address financial questions and improve processes Required Qualifications 1–2 years of accounting experience (general ledger and/or accounts payable) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Solid analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar accounting systems Experience in hospitality, retail, F&B, or multi‑entity accounting environments Required Skills/Abilities High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow Classification Full-Time, Year-round, Exempt Salary Range $60,000 to $75,000 annually Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
