Senior Fraud Investigator

The Fraud Investigator (L2) is responsible for conducting advanced fraud investigations, analyzing complex fraud patterns, mitigating financial losses, and supporting fraud prevention initiatives. The role serves as an escalation point for cases referred by L1 investigators and requires independent judgment in identifying fraud risks and recommending corrective actions. Review complex fraud cases escalated from L1 investigators. Investigate debit/credit card fraud, ACH, wire, check fraud, account takeover, identity theft, digital banking fraud, and P2P fraud. Conduct root cause analysis and fraud trend identification. Recommend account restrictions, loss mitigation, and recovery actions. Support fraud rule tuning and control enhancements. Act as escalation point for high-risk investigations. Prepare detailed investigation reports and maintain case records. Mentor L1 investigators and support training initiatives. Ensure compliance with BSA, AML, NACHA, Visa, Mastercard, and regulatory requirements. Skills & Preferred Certifications: Advanced fraud investigation, transaction monitoring, fraud analytics, banking products knowledge, case management systems, Microsoft Excel and reporting CFE, CAMS, CFCS, AAP 3-5 years of Fraud Operations, Financial Crime, or Risk Management experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
