Associate - Tax Services Full Time, Irvine, CA, US Salary Range: $29.80 to $42.79 hourly Responsibilities Prepare individual income tax returns and related workpapers; progressively expand to partnerships, corporations, trusts, foundations, and gift returns. Assist in preparing responses to tax notices, and gain exposure to audits. Participate in tax planning and research. Collaborate with wealth managers and clients to gather, track, and preserve data needed for tax preparation and planning. Assist with ad‑hoc projects. Qualifications Solid foundation in individual taxation from coursework; eagerness to learn entity tax. Familiarity with professional tax software/workpaper systems (training provided). Interest in wealth management and high net worth client service. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Clear written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Team‑oriented mindset; professionalism in client service. Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent with accounting coursework). Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in tax or public accounting. CPA eligibility or sections passed; Master’s in Taxation or MBT preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment Primarily sedentary work in an office with minimal distractions; walking throughout the office. Occasional lifting up to ten pounds. Repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation. Use of near visual acuity to prepare documents, operate a computer, and read. Speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients by phone and in‑person.
