This role uses a variety of inspection tools and techniques to identify defects and document results, supporting continuous quality improvement in the manufacturing process.Schedule: 2nd Shift 3:30PM-12:00AM with shift differential. Training on 1st shiftTechnical JobAssist with performing inspections, validations, and/or verifications of assigned items to ensure compliance and documentation of nonconforming materialPerform inspections of simple GD&T hardware using a variety of common inspection tools which may include various micrometers, bore gages, depth gauges, dial indicators, drop indicators, height gauges, etc.Use basic GD&T concepts such as Straightness, Flatness, Circularity, Cylindricity, Perpendicularity, and Parallelism as neededMay be asked to perform higher level inspections while under supervisionMay trim, sand, and drill parts, using shop equipmentPerform daily/weekly operator maintenance on equipment/tools as neededAccurately execute Company Process Control (PC) instructions and provide feedback when revisions are neededDocument actions by completing production and quality logs as neededAccomplish organization goals by actively exploring opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
