Surgical Technologist

This position requires a Day shift, working 5 days a week with 8-hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:30.

This is a 13-week contract position.

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our acute care team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience, with a preference for those with 5 years. This role includes responsibilities for assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and ensuring a well-prepared surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure successful patient outcomes.
• Monitor and maintain all equipment used in surgical procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and appropriate instruments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience preferred.
• National certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• California state license preferred; pending licenses accepted.
