Senior Tax Accountant – Director of Operations & Account Management Osborne Rincon CPAs is a dynamic, full‑service accounting firm based in Palm Springs. We provide audit, tax, and consulting services to diverse clients and are looking for a hands‑on, self‑starting tax professional with 5+ years of public accounting experience to lead tax and accounting engagements. Culture: Work‑life balance with flexible schedules and a family‑first environment. Responsibilities Tax Preparation: Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. Accounting Services: Lead engagements through all accounting phases, including tax research, planning, projections, compiling financial statements, and assisting with federal and state tax audits. Review Work: Review work prepared by junior staff. Client Services: Build existing client relationships and collaborate with clients and the tax team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or EA license required. 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience with progressive scope and responsibility. Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation. Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, client service, leadership, and PC skills, including Microsoft Office and tax preparation software (CCH Axcess and engagement software proficiency are a plus). Attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
