ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

O’Hanlon, Demerath, & Castillo

We are a boutique law firm focused on representing school districts, universities, and governmental entities in Texas. We are currently seeking a smart and capable attorney to work out of our Fort Worth office, preferably with experience in trial and appellate litigation, administrative law, education law, and/or representing government institutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal research and writing skills. We are looking for someone who offers excellent legal skills and judgment and also has the drive to grow their own practice over time. The compensation is based on experience and includes a competitive base salary and an opportunity for a bonus based on volume and quality of work. Our firm was founded in Austin, Texas in 1992, and we have grown to include offices in the Rio Grande Valley, Fort Worth, and San Antonio. Some travel will be required.

Required Qualifications:

· Current Texas law license in good standing

· Ability and willingness to travel within Texas (approximately 5-7 days per month)

· 5 years of experience, but willing to consider recent graduates

· Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills

· Excels independently with little supervision and as a key player of a larger team

· Self-driven and motivated

· Highly organized

· Professional, well-spoken

· Experience in education
