As a Server, you will be the heart of our dining experience, welcoming guests and ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. Essential Functions Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable, letting them know you are there to take care of them. Inform guests of specials and any menu changes, demonstrating thorough knowledge of our meals and possible substitutions. Make genuine recommendations that cater to guests’ tastes and preferences. Answer any questions about our food, beverages, and restaurant services with confidence and clarity. Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into our point-of-sale system promptly. Prepare coffee and tea when the line assistant is unavailable. Assist with toast preparation when the toast assistant is not present. Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, coordinating with other staff as necessary. Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned. Maintain clean service areas, ensuring tables, seats, floors, and windows are thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Monitor guests’ dining experiences, ensuring satisfaction with food and service, and respond promptly to any requests. Prepare final bills, present checks to guests, accept payments, and process credit card transactions or provide change as needed. Between seatings, promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths, checking and cleaning floors as required. Additional Responsibilities Pay Range: $9.98 and Up Incentives and Benefits of this position may include but are not limited to: 50% off 1 entree a day.
