Overnight Manager

Responsibilities Audit daily guest ledgers and handle front office operations, night audit, and hotel safety/security. Serve as Manager on Duty during overnight hours, providing leadership and supporting all front‑office and resort staff while maintaining Chatham Bars Inn Standards. Manage and monitor activities of all front‑office employees, ensuring adherence to standards, guidelines, hotel policies, procedures, coaching, training, and corrective action. Maintain a professional, high‑quality service‑oriented environment at all times. Assist guests, solve problems, address complaints, disturbances, special requests, and any other issues that arise. Manage the night shift, ensuring employees perform assigned tasks and coordinate front‑office activities with other departments. Inform overnight staff of nightly activities, group and VIP arrivals, special requests, and repeat guests. Run reports for the accounting department, complete and enter all night‑audit reports with accuracy. Make room reservations and provide information and services to guests. Ensure Chatham Bars Inn standards, including Forbes, Leading Quality Assurance, and AAA policies and procedures, are properly understood and followed. Present a professional appearance. Work closely with resort departments. Enforce fire, life, and safety procedures. Perform any reasonable duties required by Front of House Manager or Director of Rooms. Requirements Minimum of 1 year management experience. Valid driver’s license. Previous night auditor experience preferred. Superior customer service skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to understand and carry out instructions. Ability to multi‑task. Experience in Opera systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and organization. Basic math and accounting skills necessary. Excellent computer skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays. Compensation $30.00/hr #J-18808-Ljbffr
