Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering strictly to established guidelines.
• Examine and analyze results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments through preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Assist with specimen collection and be prepared to prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, train newcomers or interns, and ensure high-quality standards are maintained within the lab.
• Promote a safe and clean working space while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
