Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient exams and procedures
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories
• Perform phlebotomy tasks, including blood draws, in a professional and accurate manner
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical supplies
• Educate patients on procedures and provide excellent patient care
• Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and safety standards
• Manage patient records in accordance with privacy regulations
• Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure seamless clinic operations

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with at least three years in a clinical setting
• Strong phlebotomy skills with demonstrated blood draw proficiency
• Bilingual in [specify language if known], with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy healthcare environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
• Familiarity with basic clinical procedures and patient care protocols

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Valid state-specific medical assistant license or certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare education preferred
• Must have a minimum of three years of experience with phlebotomy, no new graduates considered
• Bilingual capability strongly preferred to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 5 pm
• Prior experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting is highly valued
• Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
