Financial Analyst - Chemistry

Position Summary Arts & Science is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join the Department of Chemistry. This individual will facilitate financial transactions for departments and programs, provide internal control reviews of fiscal activity on operating, restricted fund, endowment, plant fund, and sponsored research accounts; implement and assist with developing internal control procedures; and provide analyses for preparation of the annual school budget. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree Required Experience: 3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with forecasting, financial analysis, and budget management. Preferred Experience: Experience in an academic/higher education setting. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with Windows-based software applications, including proficiency with database and spreadsheet software. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $78,107.73 to USD $85,000.00.
