ABOUT THE POSITION : The fundamental reason this position exists is to perform functions necessary to operate printing equipment to fulfill customer orders. This position could operate golf tee printing machines or golf accessory printing equipment as needed. This position may also shift into other positions as needed according to customer demand by resource.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Operate printing equipment to meet customer demand and production goals.
• When printing PTS, the employee will run 3 printers with a goal of 24 hours of run time in an 8-hour shift.
• When running Custom, the employee will run at least 2 printers with a goal of 15 hours of run time in an 8-hour shift.
• When Pad printing, the employee will run at least 2 printers with a goal of 15 hours of run time in an 8-hour shift.
• Properly record production/order fulfillment in our operating database
• Communicate with prior/following shift printer operators to insure proper workflow
• Communicate with supervisors and maintenance personnel to maintain equipment efficiencies
• Uphold established quality standards for printed products
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Work safely upholding our company PPE and Safety requirements (Ex. Safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes where needed, gloves, labeling secondary containers, etc....) Report safety concerns to management.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS :

• Able to distinguish colors as shown in a Pantone Color Match Guide
• Ability to effectively manage time and resources in an organized manner
• Ability to read and understand requirements for customer workorders
• Must have reliable transportation
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to understand basic addition and subtraction

• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and external partners through multiple forms of technology. Must be able to receive and convey information.
• The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the Manufacturing and Printing buildings.
• Needs to have the ability to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
• Needs to be able to stand/move about their work area for entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Works on the production floor area. The noise level is usually high and will require PPE (safety glasses and hearing protection) in all zones.
• Works in high temperature areas at different times of the year
• Works on cement floors with safety padding
• Moving parts on machinery
