The Intervention Specialist provides specialized instruction to students with disabilities by developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum, and using a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The role includes maintaining student progress data, collaborating with teachers and families, and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements. Responsibilities also include creating a positive learning environment, supporting student academic and behavioral growth, and maintaining required documentation and communication. Candidates should hold appropriate Ohio licensure and demonstrate strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom management skills, along with the ability to support diverse learners effectively. We work in tandem with our member schools to provide our students with customized educational opportunities, while still maintaining partnerships with the students’ member school district.
