Job Title: Production Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, including weighing raw materials, fulfilling work orders, packaging, shipping/receiving, and operating various types of manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Accurately weigh raw materials and ingredients to meet production requirements.
• Production Operations: Fulfill work orders and operate manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
• Packaging: Assist with packaging finished products to meet quality and company standards.
• Shipping/Receiving: Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting and organizing incoming and outgoing materials.
• Quality Collaboration: Work closely with lab personnel to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies.
• Team Contribution: Collaborate with team members and provide support to meet production deadlines and goals.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the Production Manager.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes.
• Basic mechanical skills or experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Work Environment:
This role operates in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and equipment. Adherence to safety protocols is required.
