Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I on CROS Production Support Team, the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) works as an independent technical specialist lead on the most complex software solutions, software conversions/integrations, and system maintenance. The lead will have a responsibility for managing and supporting operations, maintenance, and upgrades. The incumbent participates in all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle. The ITS II provides the highest level of expertise in developing, optimizing, and applying the solutions, conducting the design sessions, and supporting all the aspects of the CROS solution and related systems. The ITS II acts as a team lead for the CROS functional areas, mentors team members, and advises management. The ITS II in the CROS bureau will be responsible for: Planning technical strategies for activities to achieve the department wide goals for CROS. Providing advice to the CROS Bureau chief on sensitive and complex issues related to the management and support of CROS. Participation in all stages of the application, file, and web server administration and configuration in support of CROS. Coordinating activities for legislative changes, large system enhancements, and service/sync packs. Preparation of reports and makes recommendations for improvement. Ensure all letters comply with department, state, and Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) requirements.
