Job Description

Propel Pro is a digital athlete-development platform that connects athletes with elite coaches they could never otherwise train with. We're building a deliberately selective roster of basketball coaches. U.S.-based coaches only.

Who this is for

\n

You've played or coached basketball at a level most coaches never reach. At least one of these describes you:

\n

• Professional: player or coach in the NBA, WNBA, G League, or a professional league overseas

\n

• College: NCAA (D1, D2 or D3), NAIA or NJCAA player, or a head, assistant or player-development coach at those levels

\n

• National team: player or staff with USA Basketball, a FIBA national team, or an international youth pipeline

\n

• Elite club or prep: director or head coach of a nationally competitive program (Nike EYBL, Adidas 3SSB, Under Armour Association, or a national prep school program)

\n

\n

And you coach. We look for real, current coaching: teams, skill and position work, player development or private training.

\n

\n

If none of these fit, this role isn't the right match.

What the work looks like

\n

You coach through a living, interactive online workspace: live sessions to coach or break down a game, video training where you're on camera giving real feedback, drill libraries, and individual development plans that track progress with input from coach, player and parent. You can work with whole teams and clubs, small groups, or one-on-one.

How approval works

\n

We approve coaches on how they actually coach, not just on paper.

1. Apply here. In your resume, list your highest playing and coaching levels, with teams and years. We verify them.
\n
2. Complete the Propel Pro coach application and onboarding.
\n
3. Bring one player you train (or have trained) to a free evaluation: a short set of sessions with you on the platform within 14 days. It's completely free for you and the player. If they're under 18, a parent sets up the account.

4. We review your sessions. Approved coaches go live.
\n

Finishing the steps doesn't guarantee approval. Every coach is reviewed individually.

Requirements

\n

• A verifiable elite basketball playing or coaching background, as described above

\n

• Active coaching experience

\n

• One player you train or have trained, ready to complete a free evaluation with you (no cost to you or the player). Required for approval.

\n

• A smartphone or computer with a camera and stable internet

\n

• Professional communication with players and parents
