We are seeking reliable Mechanical Technicians in Deltona, FL. This is a project-based position working exclusively at one location in a warehouse environment. Technicians will provide hands-on mechanical maintenance, repair, and technical support on various mechanical equipment while delivering excellent customer service.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in field service, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or warehouse operations who enjoy hands-on work and have a strong safety mindset. There is potential for project extension based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities

• Perform on-site mechanical repairs, maintenance, and general service using basic hand tools.
• Support the maintenance of various mechanical equipment.
• Conduct basic product demonstrations when needed.
• Provide maintenance support and training to customer maintenance personnel as required.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Provide technical guidance when applicable.
• Complete work orders, communicate through email, and attend team meetings using an iPad.
• Maintain a professional, customer-facing presence while working on-site.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred (Associate degree in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, or electronics is a plus).
• Experience in field service, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical hand tools and mechanical principles.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable using iPads for work orders, email, and team communication.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 60 lbs.
• Carry tools and parts weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and sit for extended periods.
• Carry up to 50 lbs.
• Push or pull carts weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
