Education and Experience: A qualified applicant must have experience working as a Paralegal in an employment law environment. Four‑year degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and be highly organized and motivated. Excellent computer skills required, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be able to work with multiple attorneys, handle a large workload and enjoy working on site in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities: Experience handling federal and state litigation of employment law claims. Knowledgeable and able to navigate and conduct research on PACER. Conduct legal research on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Prepare, draft, and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and settlement agreements. Handle case management, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and organizing discovery materials. Experienced with EEOC, S.C. Human Affairs Commission, and other employment related administrative proceedings and the deadlines associated with the same. Coordinate and manage client communication, including scheduling interviews and client meetings. Perform factual investigations by gathering and reviewing records, documents, and evidence related to employment law claims. Prepare trial and deposition binders, and assist in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination. Summarize deposition transcripts, medical records, and other documents relevant to cases. File documents with the court and manage electronic filing processes.
