Part-Time Office Assistant Needed for Industrial Epoxy Distribution Company
Company Overview:
We are the exclusive New York distributor for Belzona industrial epoxy and composite materials, serving a wide-ranging business-to-business customer base, including private companies and municipal agencies. Our clients span the power, transportation (trains, buses, airports), marine, facility maintenance, school and hospital, and building restoration markets.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and send invoices to clients in various sectors
• Conduct collection calls to ensure timely payment from B2B clients
• Make follow-up calls to assess customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships
• Create UPS shipping labels for product deliveries
• Call to set up and schedule consultant visits with customers
• Engage on social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) to promote business and maintain online presence
Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong telephone communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Position Details:
• Office located in Glen Cove, near the Land Rover dealership
• Independent role in a one-person office setting
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexible hours: approximately 4-5 hours per day, 3 days per week
• Pay range: $20-25 per hour, with potential for a higher rate based on exceptional skill sets
