Adjunct Faculty - College of Education Administrator Licensure Program

George Fox University invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor position within the College of Education Administrator Licensure Program. Adjunct instructors deliver high‑quality graduate‑level instruction centered on equity‑minded instructional leadership in an asynchronous virtual format within a supportive Christian learning environment. Job Responsibilities Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives. Develop and implement effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance. Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas) for course management. Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies. Communicate effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service. Be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role. Have demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master's degree and current principal license in the state of Oregon. Minimum of 4 years of highly successful school‑level principal experience in Oregon. Demonstrated expertise in subject matter and commitment to teaching aspiring school/district office leaders. Recent experience working as a building or district office administrator in Oregon. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Attributes Background in early literacy and/or the Science of Reading. Depth of knowledge using data to inform decision making as an educational leader. Current Professional Administrator License in Oregon (ProAL). Familiarity with online teaching modalities. Strong experience in the field related to the subject matter being taught.
