The center operates Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Physical Therapists will engage in a variety of clinical scenarios that challenge and optimize their therapeutic skills. Key Responsibilities As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Grandview Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for: Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, which includes gathering detailed medical histories and performing targeted assessments. Developing personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, incorporating patient feedback and family input to determine attainable goals. Implementing and adapting treatment protocols that respond to the evolving healthcare landscape and individual patient needs, utilizing evidence-based practices. Maintaining clear and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and addressing any changes in a patient’s condition as necessary. Participating in departmental meetings and training to continually improve service we provide to our patients. Engaging in marketing initiatives within the hospital and community to promote the services offered at our center. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with a diverse group of patients, tailoring your approach to suit a wide array of ages and functional abilities, and making a significant impact on their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications To qualify for this position, you must have: A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. A valid state license for Physical Therapy as mandated by state regulations. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showing empathy and understanding when dealing with patients and families. Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not required, candidates with previous clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), and background in collaborative healthcare settings are preferred. Compensation and Benefits The Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
