Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and creating individualized treatment plans. Implement and monitor evidence-based treatment protocols specifically designed for a diverse patient population. Provide a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, while adapting approaches based on patient progress. Deliver exemplary customer service, fostering positive interactions with patients and their families to enhance the overall patient experience. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, participating in regular case reviews and planning sessions. Educate patients and caregivers about their treatment plans and empower them with strategies to continue their rehabilitation at home. Meet utilization goals and contribute to achieving overall organizational performance objectives. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Physical Therapist at Joint Ventures, you will work with a varied client focus including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. You will be pivotal in helping individuals regain mobility, relieve pain, and restore function through customized care procedures. Our focus on community relationships means you will often treat local patients, engaging with them in familiar and supportive environments. Qualifications Completion of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, coupled with an active state license in Physical Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and fellow healthcare providers. Proficiency in computer systems and word processing to maintain patient records and document treatment plans. A genuine desire to connect with patients and help them achieve and exceed their functional goals. Ability to foster strong relationships within the clinic and the broader community through outreach initiatives. Preferred Experience Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is highly desirable. Experience with a wide range of treatment techniques, particularly in sports medicine, is a plus. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documenting patient interactions and treatments. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
