Overview: Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and application development.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and data architects to translate requirements into scalable data models.
- Optimize data models for Snowflake to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with ETL developers to design effective data integration and transformation pipelines .
- Establish and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Perform data profiling, analysis, and quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Support performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of data-related issues.
- 8+ years of experience in data modeling across large-scale enterprise systems.
- Strong experience with Snowflake data warehouse design and development.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar).
- Expertise in SQL and database concepts (relational and dimensional modeling).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
