Vehicle Sales Representative $3,000 Sign-on Bonus

Job Overview Ryder is hiring a Vehicle Sales Representative (VSR) based in Salisbury, MA. The VSR is the frontline sales agent for vehicle sales, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management teams to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities Execute the UTC’s marketing plan and coordinate outbound marketing efforts (phone calls, mailers, thank you cards). Serve as liaison between Asset Management, Rental, and Lease product lines. Maintain the Lead Tracker database for accuracy and effectiveness of marketing efforts. Cover for the VSM at the location and other sites when required. Structure and sell ancillary products such as Finance and Extended Warranty to meet customer needs. Develop and expand relationships with existing customers to ensure retention levels are met and exceeded. Install sold signs and mark vehicles as directed. Manage overall effectiveness of the UTC website for content and data accuracy; provide feedback for development. Accountable for vehicle inventory movement within the UTC’s area of operations, including offsite and satellite locations. Maintain tracking systems for inventory management and vehicle security. Ensure vehicle quality and appearance through washing, detailing, and exercise programs. Perform administrative duties such as titling, licensing, and legal sale documents. Maintain compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley, Safety STAR, and related company initiatives. Maintain cash log and collect funds accurately and timely. Assist in increasing location sales by supporting the sales process and maximizing retail activity. Maintain a neat and orderly work environment in all UTC areas. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1–3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet). High energy, self‑motivated, and goal‑oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in multitasking, organization, and time management. Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices. Comfortable with occasional travel (1–10%). Compensation and Benefits Hourly Pay: $22.00, paid weekly, plus a monthly per‑vehicle sale incentive based on total branch sales, up to $3,000. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on performance.
