We are looking for a detail-focused Sales Order Specialist to join a team in Austin, Texas in a Contract to Permanent role. This 3-6 month opportunity is ideal for someone who can keep order processing accurate, coordinate effectively across departments, and maintain high service standards in a fast-moving environment. The person in this position will help ensure sales orders are complete, compliant, and processed efficiently while supporting smooth communication with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:
• Process incoming sales orders with accuracy and verify each transaction meets company guidelines and quality expectations.
• Review order submissions for completeness, confirming that required details, approvals, and supporting documents are in place before release.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to address order discrepancies, remove roadblocks, and keep fulfillment moving forward.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to resolve order questions and provide timely updates on status, corrections, and next steps.
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support audit readiness, reporting needs, and operational consistency.
• Use business systems and cloud-based platforms to enter, track, and manage order activity efficiently.
• Build working knowledge of company products and relevant market trends to support accurate communication and issue resolution.
• Identify process improvement opportunities that strengthen order accuracy, turnaround time, and cross-functional collaboration.• Experience in sales order processing, sales operations, or a similar administrative support role.
• Background working in a B2B, SaaS, or other fast-paced business environment is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external contacts.
• Proficiency with business technology and cloud-based tools; experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and NetSuite is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail while managing multiple priorities at once.
• Ability to understand and explain technical information related to orders, products, or service issues.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and day-to-day execution.
