The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields. We are looking for an Operations Manager that is always looking for ways to engage their employees and make the workplace more effective and efficient. The incumbent must have excellent leadership skills, social skills, and knowledge of actively listening. Understanding finances, supply chain management, workflow, and staffing are critical functions of the role. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant Formulate strategic and operational objectives Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability Manage budgets and forecasts Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs Recruit, train and supervise staff of 50+ employees Find ways to increase quality of customer service Vendor vetting and approval processing Incident reporting (safety, damages, traffic citations) EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role (Commercial Relocation Industry Preferred) Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management Experience budgeting and forecasting Familiarity with business and financial principles Leadership ability Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field preferred MoversSuite and Netsuite familiarity is a strong plus SALARY: $70,000+ per annum, based on relevant experience BENEFITS AND PERKS: Medical Insurance Vision Plan Paid Time Off Roth Basic Life Insurance (Company Paid) Long Term Disability Insurance (Company Paid) Short Term Disability Insurance Discretionary Bonus Program Supplemental Insurance Team Building Events AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/EEO STATEMENT Flood Brothers is the fastest growing company in our industry, and we are looking for best talent to join our team.
