Customer Service Representative

Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as one of the primary point of contact for policyholders, agents, and third-party providers. Your primary responsibilities will include handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing accurate information regarding insurance products and services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and a solid understanding of insurance policies and procedures. Assist policyholders in filing claims and provide guidance through the claims process. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner. Educate customers about their insurance options and recommend additional products or services when appropriate. Collaborate with insurance agents and underwriters to address customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Stay current on insurance industry regulations, trends, and best practices. Perform administrative tasks such as processing policy endorsements, cancellations, and renewals. Participate in training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills. Requirements Insurance licensed or willingness to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe (depending on the role and region). Proven customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office; experience with insurance-related software a plus. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
