Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state required Certifications: CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Must live 100 miles away - BSN highly desired Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats every type of patient. ED nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care (simple procedures) to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. Nurses coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing care needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
