Job Summary:
An Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in medical surgical oncology at a regional site in New Jersey. The position involves providing specialized care for oncology patients, with a requirement to bring a valid nursing license on the first day. Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of surgical and/or surgical oncology experience and are encouraged to hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification. The work schedule consists of ten-hour shifts, four days per week, primarily Monday through Friday.

• Location: Middletown, New Jersey

• Schedule: Days shift, with shifts typically lasting 10 hours, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes working four days a week, with some weeks possibly involving five days with 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, a minimum of 1.5 years of surgical and/or surgical oncology experience, and either a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience is highly preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may not be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves rotating shifts, with some weeks potentially involving 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. shifts. Candidates should be committed to providing specialized oncology patient care and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.
