About the Hotel

The Best Western Valencia is a leading hotel in the Santa Clarita Valley, ideally located near Six Flags Magic Mountain, The Master's University, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and major corporate offices. Serving a diverse mix of leisure and business travelers, our hotel is known for friendly service and exceptional guest experiences.  We're looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, solving challenges, and creating memorable stays for every guest.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is a key member of the hotel's leadership team, overseeing Front Office operations while supporting the overall hotel. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you'll lead by example, coach associates, ensure exceptional guest service, and help drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and motivate the Front Desk team.
• Prepare schedules and support daily hotel operations.
• Assist Housekeeping operations and serve as relief Housekeeping Supervisor when needed.
• Support breakfast operations during busy periods.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and confidently.
• Maintain quality, cleanliness, and Best Western brand standards.
• Coordinate effectively with all hotel departments.
• Manage front office inventory and supplies.
• Respond to operational challenges and emergencies.
• Partner with the General Manager to achieve guest satisfaction, financial, and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of hotel supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to coach teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to lead from the front.
