Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an armed officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering the chance to work with a team that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, support loss prevention efforts, and report suspicious behavior.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
