Finance Lead, Global R&D Study Forecasting
AbbVie
Finance Lead supporting clinical trial budgeting and financial analysis for neuroscience R&D studies. Responsible for budget reconciliations, forecast monitoring, expense management, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical and finance teams on ongoing and planned trials.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trial cost analysis, scenario planning, and budget management throughout study lifecycle
- Gather data from multiple sources and deliver budget metrics to clinical and finance leadership
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports; communicate timely variance discrepancies and resolutions
- Assess and investigate study spending against forecasts; maintain regular forecast updates
- Interface with various organizational levels on financial requests and special projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 6+ years progressive, related financial experience
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CPA or MBA preferred
- SAP, Power BI, or BPC knowledge preferred
