Senior Finance Manager, Global Commercial Reporting

Senior Finance Manager leads balance sheet planning, forecasting, consolidation, and actuals reporting for the Global Commercial organization at a pharmaceutical company. The role manages capital budget consolidation, supports quarterly impairment assessments, and supervises two finance professionals while driving process improvements and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Lead Global Commercial balance sheet planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting across multiple cycles
Coordinate finance inputs, analyze balance sheet movements, and prepare variance commentary with escalation of material risks
Lead capital budget consolidation and support Commercial Capital Authorization activities
Coordinate quarterly intangible asset impairment assessments across Finance, R&D, and Corporate Accounting
Coach and develop two finance professionals while driving process improvements and maintaining SOX compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years progressive accounting, financial reporting, or finance experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements
Experience with balance sheet planning, forecasting, consolidation, and variance analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP, BPC, BIP, or Power BI preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
Experience leading and developing finance team members
