The Project Manager plays a critical role in day-to-day project execution, ensuring success through excellent planning, team coordination, and problem-solving. With a strong backlog and a safety-first culture, this role offers both challenge and reward in equal measure. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily execution of assigned project(s), ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence Manage, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal field personnel Provide guidance and oversight to project superintendents and promote a strong safety culture Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain momentum Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost control strategies Manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and monthly cost reporting Serve as the primary contact for project owners, leading meetings and providing status updates Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards Manage all documentation, permits, inspections, and closeout activities Role Requirements: Proven experience managing heavy civil or commercial construction projects from start to finish Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams across multiple scopes of work Understanding of field operations and construction methodologies Preferred Skills or Experience: Experience in public works, roadway, utilities, and site development projects Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam) Local experience in the Phoenix metro market Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred 3-5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil or commercial construction OSHA 30 certification preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Oscar Associates Limited (US) is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
