Elder Care Provider Wanted - My Name Is Alisa. I Am Looking For A Social Companion For My Elderly Mother Who Lives In A Care Facility In Gothenburg, Ne.

My mother is 88 with mild dementia. She is very social! She recently experienced a health crisis and is now having trouble with the depression, isolation and boredom of a care facility. This is slowing her progress toward regaining her physical strength and positive attitude. I would like to find a companion to spend time with her several times each week to engage her in conversation, encourage her and give her something to look forward to. Any other activity that can be done at her facility with her would also be helpful. I believe companionship would help with her overall healing and spirit. Because of her dementia she talks in circles but really just likes to have the company of someone telling her about their life and daily activities. She has all her other care needs met by the care facility. She just needs a consistent and dependable companion and friend, as most of her family live too far to visit regularly. I am willing to pay $10 per hour up to 2 1/2 hours per week on your schedule to keep her company. Would you be interested in such a arrangement? Please visit to view full details and to apply.
