Mechanical Claims Adjuster

Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time
Location: Fenton, MO (Fully On-Site)

PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Mechanical Claims Adjuster for a growing organization in Fenton, Missouri . If you have an automotive repair or service background and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this is a great opportunity to transition your mechanical knowledge into an office-based career.

What You'll Do

Review and process mechanical warranty and vehicle service contract claims.
Answer inbound calls and respond to emails from repair facilities and customers.
Determine claim eligibility and coverage.
Review labor and parts costs, negotiate repairs when appropriate, and authorize covered claims.
Communicate claim decisions clearly and professionally.
Document claim activity accurately and maintain high productivity and customer service standards.
Partner with vendors and repair facilities throughout the claims process.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of automotive repair, service advisor, or parts experience.
2+ years of customer service experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Claims or call center experience.
Associate degree or technical certifications.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity and requires working fully on-site in Fenton, MO .
